RE: Off-Road Areas in Norcal for E3 Camping?

Went to Gerle Creek and Loon Lake this weekend. We camped at Stumpy Meadows, but reconned these places. Found an AWESOME spot on Loon Lake to camp next to water on large flat granite spot. Will post when that trip happens. Gerle Creek has a nice spot, an E1 was already there! D'OH!
Thanks for all the help!

Off-Road Areas in Norcal for E3 Camping?

Well, we've done it. We're ready to take the baby where there is no concrete and no campground. Any ideas? Western Nevada is also an option as we are based near Sacramento.
Thanks!

RE: How beneficial is a slide out dinette?

We have an E3 and the slide out makes the experience easy with larger groups and larger people. I'm 6 foot 270 and fit comfortably in the slide out dinette with kids and extras. It's very welcome for us; we often have an extra couple stay in the PUP with us.
Storage is not an issue for us though, we store a bunch of wood on the porch and everything else goes in the bed of the truck. When we get the 4 Wheeler, then we might have storage issues, but not now.
Also, the slide out becomes a good size bed. We sleep 3 little ones (up to 8 years) in the slide out when converted to a third bed!

RE: '09' info

BLeah. Incongruous at best.
One thing I noticed was that wall was out on the door side. Haven't tried that with mine.

RE: AC for my E3 - Tips or Recs

Thanks for the generator tip. I was afraid of that. It's on my list. Fortunately the heater in the unit is a blast furnace for winter camping (and this weekend it will be 29 degrees--at night--at the Truckee River where we're going-in Late JULY!); but AC will have to wait a little bit. A good size QUIET generator is gonna run about a grand you think? Any tips on a quiet generator? And how about the difference between 13.5 and 15K on the AC?

AC for my E3 - Tips or Recs

I'm looking to install an AC unit on my E3. Anyone have tips or recommendations re: size/brand and will it run off the battery or do I need a generator? I'll probably buy it at Camping World in Roseville, CA. Nice store if you've got one nearby!
How tricky is it to install oneself?
Thanks,
DAN

RE: Who is camping over Memorial Day?

Albee Creek Campground in the Humboldt Redwoods State Park. It's 100+ here in the Sacramento Valley and we are heading for the coast! Nice cool Redwoods and Family!
Pictures and maybe Video to follow!

RE: Help with Power Drill Lid-Lift

After the first trip, I took it back in for some small repairs (water hose broke) (bed not level) and the company gave me a drill attachment for free. Save 36 bucks! Thanks for the info.

Help with Power Drill Lid-Lift

I have an 18V Cordless Drill - what do I use to attach it to the PUP to lift the lid?? My PUP is a new Fleetwood E3. Thanks in advance for advice. We picked it up today and will be camping tomorrow in the Tahoe area.
